WHAT IS HEART CENTERED REIKI? |
|
There are seven main energy centers located throughout the body. During a Heart Centered Reiki treatment, we will focus on the heart chakra. The heart chakra is located over the physical heart and is the center of the body’s chakra system. It unites your physical self with your spiritual self. When you are grieving, your whole body feels raw and horribly injured. As a natural response to grieving, your heart chakra may close down to protect your body, mind and emotions. Heart Centered Reiki helps to slowly open your heart chakra and as a result all your other chakras will come into balance again. Through a combination of safe and gentle dialogue, energy work, meditation and ritual exercises, we will travel together on a path to healing and transcendence of your loss.
DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO IS GRIEVING?
Give them the gift of Heart Centered Reiki.
I was devastated by my father’s death when I was 16 years old. I discovered at that tender age that I was a survivor. But nothing prepared me for the life-shattering experience of losing my precious middle son, Michael in 1995. I have been to the bottom of “the pit” and I have clawed my way out. My “grief work” has supplied me with many resources that have helped me develop Heart Centered Reiki Ó. I am truly blessed to be able to share my experiences with others whose hearts are grieving.

TASKS OF GRIEVING |
|
Loss is inevitable. It is a natural part of living. Yet, when we are faced with separation from something or someone we love, we find ourselves ill-equipped to handle the physical and emotional turmoil that follows. Yes, grief is a universal fact of life but each one of us grieves in a unique and very personal way. Each of us has to find our way through our grief but we don’t have to do it alone. The following tasks of grieving are not linear but instead are processed in a circular fashion. We need to come back to them over and over again so as to reach a deeper meaning and understanding of the task. ♥ Feel the pain – Accept the reality of the loss. It happened, it hurts, and it helps if you talk about it. Finding words to express your emotions is the first step in healing your broken heart. ♥ Let Go – Sometimes your heart feels frozen solid; you think you will never feel joy again. But when you allow yourself to really feel the pain, your heart melts and the tears come flooding forth. This letting go is cathartic and liberating. There are many things you will learn to say goodbye to during the grieving process. ♥ Receive -- When you let go, you give up control. This is a scary situation for most of us. But in the simple act of reaching out for help, your heart will open to the blessings of compassion and healing.
